I'm so excited to welcome you to 7th grade Advanced Language Arts for the 2026-2027 school year! I'm so excited you're here. We're going to have an incredible year filled with engaging learning, meaningful discussions, creativity, and plenty of opportunities to grow as readers, writers and thinkers.  

I can't wait to met each of you, learn more about you, and begin this exciting journey together!

Advanced 7th ELA: Supplies Needed  ​

- 1inch 3 ring binder (metal is OK-kids will leave here) 

- PLASTIC 2 pocket folder

- #2 pencils ( lots :) )

- glue sticks

- highlighters

- Expo markers 

- colored pencils 

- loose leaf lined paper 

-black sharpie marker

Intensive Language Arts Groups: Supplies Needed

About Me: 

I am joining SLA from Garden Elementary, where I have over 20 years experience in education. My background includes classroom instruction, literacy and data coaching, and providing targeted reading and math instruction for students who need extra support. I'm passionate about literacy and I look forward to making a meaningful impact on students' reading growth this year!

I love calling Venice home where I live with my two dogs, husband, and two kids (Brayden and Isla). My favorite things include curling up with a good book, spending time with family and friends, laughing at a funny movie and traveling to new places! 

​

I am so excited for the upcoming school year and getting to know all of my students!
